On Monday, at 2:00 p.m., April 25, the Mary and David Harrison Institute for American History, Literature, and Culture, and the Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library will celebrate Historic Garden Week with a panel discussion, “Morven: A Landscape Laboratory—Past, Present, and Future,” in the Harrison/Small auditorium.
Panelists will include School of Architecture Dean Beth Meyer, Morven Program Director Stewart Gamage, Rivanna Archaeological Services Principal Steve Thompson, Professor of Environmental Science Manuel Lerdau, and Landscape Architect Thomas Woltz, who will discuss their efforts to record the layers of Morven’s history and help shape its future. This event is open to the public; space is limited.
