The Library is happy to announce that Elizabeth Wilkinson will be joining UVA as the Library Archivist beginning February 22. Elizabeth will be part of the Metadata Analysis & Design team in Collections Access & Discovery, and will be working with many other teams across the Library on a variety of projects related to archival processing and archival data management.

Elizabeth comes to us from Georgetown University, where she works as Curator of Manuscripts to accession, describe, and make collections available through Archivists’ Toolkit and ArchivesSpace. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in History, an M.A. in History, and an M.L.S. from Indiana University. She has worked in manuscripts and archives at the Indiana State Library and Purdue University.
