The Library is pleased to welcome two new staff members.
Christian Delahaya began work on May 9 as the new Mac specialist for the Library Staff Technology team, and will provide other technical support for library staff and faculty. Christian was a Mac Technician at Apple Inc., and most recently was a Technology Support Engineer at the College of William and Mary.
Erin Pappas, the new Arts & Humanities Librarian in Academic Engagement, will start on May 16. She will be the primary liaison to the Slavic department; the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies; and the Linguistics program. She will also support several other areas.
Erin holds several degrees—in Anthropology & Russian Literature from Reed College; in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky; and in Anthropology from the University of Chicago. She was an instructor at the University of Chicago in the Department of International Studies, and a librarian at several colleges in the greater Chicago area. Most recently, Erin was the Librarian for Social Sciences and European Languages at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
